This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(A) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1/U.P. Zila Adhikari Sadar Jaunpur to decide the Appeal No. T20161436044021 (Karam Ali vs. Ashutosh Kumar and others) under Section 210 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, within stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The writ petition has been filed on account of pendency of an appeal filed by the opposite party against a mutation order in favour of the petitioner. The appeal is stated to be pending since the year 2016.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1/U.P. Zila Adhikari Sadar Jaunpur to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
