JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 39
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 17490 of 2019 Petitioner :- Ashutosh Kashyap Respondent :- Dakshinanchal Viddut Vitaran Nigam Limited Through Its M.D. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Vinod Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- Baleshwar Chaturvedi
Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J.
This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to conclude the pending disciplinary action against the petitioner in view of the fact that inquiry proceedings have already been concluded.
It appears that disciplinary action has been initiated against the petitioner and a charge sheet was served upon him on 20.2.2018. Petitioner has already submitted a reply to the charge sheet whereafter an inquiry report is stated to have been submitted in the year 2018 itself and a recommendation thereafter has been made by the Executive Engineer to the Superintending Engineer but till date a final decision has not been taken and hence this petition.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the proceedings of the pending inquiry would be expedited.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondents to ensure that pending disciplinary action against the petitioner is concluded, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
Order Date :- 25.11.2019 Ashok Kr.
