Heard.
This petition is filed against an order of District Magistrate dated 27.02.2021 passed under Section 3(1) of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970.
The order is appealable under Section 6 of the Act, 1970. Appeal has not been preferred.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner says that the petitioner would prefer an appeal.
In view of availability of alternate remedy, writ petition is dismissed without entering into the merits of the controversy.
