(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE A.L.DAVE) It is true that the appeal is of 1993, but the record indicates that the appellant was absconding from 1995 to 2010, and in fact, his appeal was dismissed on that ground by this Court which came to be restored again by this Court by order dated 4.8.2011. In our view, there is no need to expedite the hearing of the appeal only by virtue of year of institution. Effectively, the appeal can be said to have been filed only in 2011 when it is restored. The second prayer for regular bail also cannot be granted on account of his history of abscondence. Both the prayers are therefore rejected. The application stands rejected.
