Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned A.G.A. and perused the record.
The present 482 Cr.P.C. application has been preferred by the applicant to direct the court below/ learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No. 2, Muzaffarnagar to expedite the proceedings of Sessions Trial No. 148 of 2015, State Vs. Ramveer and others, relating to Case Crime No. 280 of 2014, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 307, 302 IPC and 7 Criminal law Amendment Act, Police Station-Kandhla, District-Shamli.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the trial is pending since the year 2015 without any progress and the learned trial Judge appears to be helpless though he has been empowered to proceed and conclude the trial as early as possible.
Under such circumstances, I hereby direct the learned trial Judge to exercise and utilize his powers contained in Criminal Procedure Code against the obstinate accused persons including cancelling their bail bonds and ensure that the trial should be concluded within one year from the production of certified copy of this order.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is, accordingly, disposed of.
