Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
Present writ petition has been filed for the following main relief:-
"(i) Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding to the opposite parties not to compel the petitioners to deposit their fire arm license at the police station or with the fire arm dealer."
Learned counsel for the State submitted that Panchayat Election has already been held and the result of the same has been declared, therefore, present writ petition has become infructuous.
In view of aforesaid as also keeping in view the averments made in the writ petition including the reliefs sought, it appears that present writ petition has now become infructuous. It is accordingly dismissed having become infructuous.
