1. Heard Sri V.K.S. Chandel, Advocate, for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents.
2. Petitioner is claiming consideration of his candidature for appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher in Basic School pursuant to advertisement dated 22.10.2002. Now after 16 years, I do not find any effective relief can be granted to petitioner particularly when appointments to the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools are now governed by provisions of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as “Act, 2009”) and Rules and Regulations framed thereunder.
3. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
