The claim of the petitioner, who is a Class IV employee in Maharaja Agrasen Inter College, Deoria for promotion to Class III post, was rejected by the Committee of Management by order dated 14.12.2015. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner had filed an appeal before the District Inspector of Schools under Chapter III Regulation 2 of the Regulations framed under the U.P. Intermediate Education Act, 1921.
Although, several reliefs have been claimed in the instant petition, but the sole relief which has been pressed is for issuing a direction to the District Inspector of Schools to decide the appeal in a time bound manner, to which learned Standing counsel has no objection.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to decide the appeal of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after hearing the petitioner and Principal/Committee of Management of the institution.
