This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to quash the proceeding sanctioning order dated 16.02.2018 passed by the Vice Chairman (Reetu Meman), Ghaziabad Development Authority.
Learned counsel for the applicant stated that there were some officers/employees involved in illegally allotting the plot/house to the interested persons who did not legally fulfil the requirement for allotment regarding which the then Vice-Chairman (Reetu Memon) wrote a letter to Sri Sudheer, then Secretary Housing, U.P. Government, Lucknow for a high level enquiry or vigilance departmental enquiry and requested to punish the guilty officers, thereafter, on the requisition made by I.O. of the aforesaid case, the Vice Chairman granted sanction on 16.02.2018 which the present petitioner challenged in the present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
Learned A.G.A. opposed the quashing of the order dated 16.02.2018.
After having examined the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and perused the impugned order, we are of the opinion that there is no illegality found in the order granting sanction dated 16.02.2018 passed by the Vice Chairman (Reetu Meman), Ghaziabad Development Authority.
The petition lacks merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
