JUDGMENT / ORDER

The case is taken up through Video Conferencing.
Learned counsel for petitioner undertakes that he shall remove the defects pointed out by the Registry within a period of ten days of the withdrawal of lock-down restrictions.
Heard learned counsel for petitioner, Sri Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary, learned counsel for State Election Commission and learned Standing Counsel for State- respondents.
Petitioner has filed a present writ petition raising a dispute with regard to recounting of the result of election for the post of Member Kshatriya Panchayat.
Sri Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary, learned Counsel for State Election Commission as well as learned Standing Counsel raises a preliminary objection that under Section 14(2) of U.P. Kshettra Panchayats And Zila Panchayats Adhiniyam, 1961 petitioner has statutory alternative remedy to file an election petition against the result of election for the post of Member Kshatriya Panchayat.
In view of the availability of statutory alternative remedy, petition is consigned to record with liberty to the petitioner to avail the statutory alternative remedy as per law.
