The petitioner is seeking correction in the date of birth as recorded in the marks sheet and certificate of High School Examination 2010. The material placed on record evidences that the application was moved sometime in the year 2013. However, no decision has been taken on the said application so far.
Learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents state that the application shall be decided by respondent No. 2 within such time, as may be directed by this Court.
Accordingly, without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 2 to decide the application of the petitioner seeking correction in his date of birth in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order along with photo copy of the application originally filed.
