Heard Shri Mahendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the court below to decide Land Acquisition Reference No. 40 of 2007 within stipulated period.
A perusal of the order-sheet reveals that Reference was transferred to the Tribunal and is now pending before it. The Tribunal had passed an order for notifying the said fact to the parties.
Having regard to the facts of the case, it is hereby provided that as soon as the notice of transfer of Reference to the Tribunal is duly notified to the parties, the Tribunal shall endeavour to decide the same expeditiously, as it is pending since the year 2007.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
