This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Assistant Collector/Tehsildar, Sadar, Maharajganj to decide the restoration application dated 22.01.2019 filed by the respondent nos. 5 to 8 to recall the order dated 24.12.2018 having been passed by the Assistant Collector/Tehsildar, Sadar, Maharajganj in Case No. 7035 of2017 (Gram Sabha vs. Ram Kishun and others) (Computer Case No. T2017054752017035) under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 within a period of time specified by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved because a restoration application filed by the respondent nos. 5 to 8 against the order dated 24.12.2018 ordering their eviction under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code is pending consideration and has not been decided finally till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 Assistant Collector/Tehsildar, Sadar, Maharajganj to decide the restoration application of the respondents as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
