A proceeding under section 34 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901 was finalized on 21.3.1995. Thereafter the Appellate Court has now remanded the matter back to the Tehsildar on 5.2.2018. The request of the petitioner is that since the matter has remained pending since 1991 and after the remand, only dates are being fixed, a direction may be issued that the case may be decided expeditiously.
Under such circumstance, it is being directed that the Case No.1107 of 1991 (Jang Ram & Ors. Vs. Bullah (since deceased) & Ors.) pending in the Court of Additional Tehsildar, Sadar, District Varanasi be decided within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
