|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 6
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 1701 of 2019 Petitioner :- Arvind Singh And 3 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Bramh Narayan Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition has been preferred for a consideration of the claim of the petitioners for promotion from the post of Constable to Head Constable.
In the supplementary affidavit, it is revealed that no adverse entries have been awarded against the petitioner Nos. 1, 2 and 3. Insofar as petitioner No.4 is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioners concedes that since a period of five years is yet to expire from the date of imposition of punishment, his claim would not merit consideration at this stage.
Insofar as the petitioner Nos. 1,2 and 3 are concerned, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the said respondent shall duly evaluate their grievances and take an appropriate decision in respect thereof in accordance with law and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
Order Date :- 21.2.2019/faraz
