The petitioners claim to be the office bearer of the District Level Union of the Assistant Teacher and are seeking writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 to consider their request to repost them in the same block, where they were working prior to their promotion. It is admitted to all the petitioners that they were promoted in the year 2017 on the post of Headmaster in different primary schools and were transferred on being promoted from one block to another, and that they had joined their place of posting and are working since then.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is based on the circular dated 5.1.2006, which is only a guideline. The same cannot be pressed to seek cancellation of their transfer.
There is no merit in the claim of the petitioners. No mandamus can be issued.
The present petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
