Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner came to be working as Marketing Inspector.
By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
a) issue, a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondents, to issue the orders of promotions on the post of Area Marketing Officer, in pursuance of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held on 31/08/2018;
b) issue, a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondents, to Promote the petitioners, from the post of Area Marketing Officer, in pursuance of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held on 31/08/2018.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall pass appropriate order, in accordance with law.
In view thereof, on consent, the petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order alongwith copy of the writ petition.
It is clarified that the Court has not considered the claim of the petitioner on merits.
