Heard learned counsel for parties.
This petition has been preferred seeking the following reliefs:-
"Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 4 to declare the list of selected candidates along with petitioner.
Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent No. 5 to 8 to allot the Primary School and give the appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary School."
The reliefs are addressed in the backdrop of the petitioner having participated in a recruitment exercise which was initiated by the respondents in 2014. The petitioner has not brought on the record any material to establish that he was selected or shortlisted in that process. There is also no disclosure of the quality point marks obtained by him in that selection process and the cut off which was fixed for the particular category under which he applied. The Court also takes note of the fact that the petitioner presently is stated to be 42 years old.
The petition is misconceived and shall stand dismissed with costs quantified at Rs. 5000/- which shall be recovered from the petitioner as arrears of land revenue forthwith.
