Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri J.S. Bundela learned Standing Counsel.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in the final order which was passed by the respondent on 12 March 2015, the date of confirmation of the petitioner was clearly shown as 01 September 2002. He states that in the subsequent list which was drawn in the year 2017-18 without any justifiable reason, the date of his confirmation was left blank as a consequence of which his claim for promotion to the post of Revenue Inspector could not be considered.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the claim of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Revenue Inspector shall be duly attended to and disposed of by the said respondent in accordance with law and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
