JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, who is presently working as Manager Grade II in the service of Coir Board at Coir Bhavan, Guwahati, is under orders of transfer to Coir Board, Ernakulam as per Ext.P1. The petitioner alleges that he had worked in the North-East States for the requisite period, which entitles him to the benefit of Ext.P2 transfer norms for transfer to a station of his choice. According to the petitioner, he wishes a transfer to Kolkatta for the continuance of the studies of his children, for which the presence of his family is required at Kolkatta. Allegedly, he has filed Ext.P3 representation.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that continuance at Guwahati is more convenient compared to the posting at Kochi.
W.P.(C) No. 13563 of 2012 ..2..
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file fresh representation projecting all his grievances.
In the event of filing such a representation within a period of one month, the same shall be considered by the respondent Board within a period of three months thereafter.
Till that exercise is completed, the petitioner shall be allowed to continue at Guwahati de hors Ext.P1 order.
