Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Hriday Narayan Shrma, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 22.7.2019 passed by the District Magistrate, Fatehpur.
By the impugned order dated 22.7.2019 the District Magistrate, Fatehpur has seized the identity card of the petitioner on the basis of the letter issued by the Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj on a complaint lodged by the father of the petitioner and a report has been summoned from the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bindaki. The order was passed in July, 2019, which is now challenged.
The order only reflects that a report has been called by the District Magistrate and during the pendency of submission of a report identity card has been seized on a complaint lodged by the father of the petitioner.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I do not find any good ground to interfere with the impugned order.
Present petition is accordingly dismissed.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that authority concerned be directed to conclude the proceedings pending against the petitioner.
From perusal of the record, it is not clear as to what proceedings are pending against the petitioner and what is the stage of the proceedings.
In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to issue any such direction, however, the petitioner is at liberty to move an application before the authority concerned for early disposal of the proceedings, if any, pending against him.
No order as to costs.
