Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Standing Counsel has placed instructions on record, including a copy of the order dated 22.2.2018 refusing to approve auction / allotment in favour of the petitioner dated 18.1.2017 on the ground that the petitioner was not under a preferential category of allotment. Sri Shukla has furnished a copy of the said order to learned counsel for the petitioner.
The respondents are directed to refund the amount deposited by the petitioner forthwith.
No lis survives in the present petition.
The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, but with above observation.
