This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the Court below to decide the Case No. 211 of 2014 (old case no. 6259 of 2013) State Vs. Sunil Kumar Agrawal, under Section 406 IPC and 138 of N.I. Act, arising out of Case Crime No. 76 of 2013, Police Station Cantt, District Varanasi, pending before the Court of ACJM, Court No. 9, Varanasi.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending for very long and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
