JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2016 and direct the respondents to mutate the revenue entry in respect of the property obtaining in T.S.No.3, Block No.7, Ward No.C in an extent of 11774 sq.ft. In favour of Arulmighu Angayeeamman Deity and Temple, Natchiarpalayam, Woraiyur, Trichy -3.
2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for R1 & R2 and Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan for R3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted a representation dated 20.08.2016 through his counsel in the form of a legal notice to the respondents for mutation of records in respect of the property in question. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2016, which is in the form of a legal notice and pass suitable orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.
5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
