JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to issue correlation certificate Nos.274/8, 284, 285, 281/1 & 289/2 of Edayakottai Village, Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2017.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he is one of the joint owners of the property measuring to an extent of 10 acres 62 cents in S.Nos. 274/7, 274/8, 284, 285, 281/1 & 289/2 and he made an application for issuance of correlation certificate with regard to the said property so as to augment the same, followed by the representation dated 16.08.2017. Since the said representation was not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders passed.
4. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2017 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.
5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
