Grievance of the petitioner is that respondents are interfering in religious prayer and rituals ceremony of the persons belonging to the minority community in Mohalla Katgarh Gola Bazar, Lalganj, Police Station Devgaon, District Azamgarh.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that interference by the respondents at the instance of certain private persons is in violation of the fundamental right of the petitioner enshrined under Article 26 of the Constitution of India.
Having considered all facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by keeping the petitioner at liberty to agitate his cause before the District Magistrate, Azamgarh. The petitioner may submit a detailed representation ventilating her grievance to the District Magistrate, Azamgarh and the District Magistrate, Azamgarh, in turn, shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
