Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 10.07.2017 (Annexure No.1), pertaining to Case Crime no. 450 of 2017 under Section 366 I.P.C. at P.S. Baghpat, District Baghpat."
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 178 of 2017 dated 02.12.2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
