By order dated 20.3.2018 in Writ A No. 8241 of 2018 filed by the applicant, a direction was issued to Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board, Allahabad to decide representation of the applicant seeking permission to correct certain inadvertent mistake in the online application form for inter-district transfer, within a period of ten days from the date of production of a certified copy of the order.
On matter being taken up today, Sri P.K. Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel states that representation of the applicant has been decided on 25.7.2018 in compliance of the direction issued by the writ Court. A copy of the order dated 25.7.2018 has been made available to learned counsel for the applicant and he is not in a position to dispute the statement of Sri P.K. Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.
Having regard to the above fact, this Court finds no good reason to proceed any further in the instant matter.
The contempt application is disposed of accordingly.
