The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 02.02.2021 passed in Writ A No. 14376 of 2020 (Smt. Arti Singh Vs. State of U.P. and 4 Others).
Today when the matter was taken up, instructions received from the office of the opposite party has been placed before this Court, the same is taken on record. It is informed by Shri K. R. Singh, learned counsel for the opposite party that the order was passed by the opposite party on 17.08.2021 by the Divisional Assistant Education Director, Varanasi by which the salary of the petitioner was released.
It appears from perusal of the record that till date no actual payment has been made in favour of the applicant.
As prayed by Shri K. R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the opposite party, put up this matter on 23.08.2021.
In case on or before the said date the actual payment was not paid in favour of the applicant, opposite party shall remain present before this Court in person.
