Heard learned counsel for petitioner as well as Mr. H.P. Srivastava, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State Authorities.
The writ petition has been filed seeking direction to opposite parties for repolling in certain wards in panchayat elections relating to Village Murgaha, Vikas Khand Nighashan, District Lakhimpur Kheri.
Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State Authorities informs that the Panchayat elections have been completed and final result has been declared, as such, the relief claimed by the petitioner in the writ petition cannot be granted, at this stage.
The writ petition has become infructuous due to efflux of time. It is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
