Petitioner had submitted Exts.P1 and P2 to the Director General of Income Tax (Investigation), inter alia, alleging certain discrepancies in the chitty being conducted by the party respondents 3 to 5. The complaint is that so far no action had been taken in the matter. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of as under without notice to the party respondents.
2nd respondent shall consider Exts. P1 and P2 and take appropriate steps in the matter after hearing the affected parties, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
