COMMON ORDER :
In all these writ petitions, the grievance of the petitioners is that the petitioners intend to dispose of the land assigned to Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the orders of the Government in G.O.Ms.No.307, Revenue (Assignments.I) Departments dated 06.06.2013. They have submitted representations to the District Collector, for issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC). But so far no NOC is issued. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the District Collector, in issuing NOC, these writ petitions are instituted.
2. In W.P.Nos.31591/2014, 31599/2014 and 31613/2014, the petitioners are Ex-Servicemen and they were assigned Ac.5-00 of land each in Survey No.336/P of Madhurawada Village, Visakhapatnam Rural, Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, bearing Assignment Patta DR.No.240/88 dated 11.04.1978, DR.No.239/88 dated 11.04.1978 and DR.No.248/88 dated 13.04.1978.
3. In W.P.No.31600/2014 the petitioners are wife and children of Ex- Serviceman and he was allotted Ac.5-00 of land in Survey No.336/P of Madhurawada Village, Visakhapatnam Rural, Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, bearing patta DR.No.243/88 dated 13.04.1978. The petitioners submitted representations on 10.02.2014, 11.02.2014, 03.01.2014 & 28.07.2014.
4. As per the orders in G.O.Ms.No.307, Revenue (Assignments.I) Department, dated 06.06.2013, the District Collector, Visakhapatnam (3rd respondent) has to grant No Objection Certificate to the lands assigned to ex- servicemen.
5. Since the representations submitted on 10.02.2014, 11.02.2014, 03.01.2014 & 28.07.2014 are yet to be disposed of, these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the District Collector, Visakhapatnam (3rd respondent) to consider the request of the petitioners for grant of No Objection Certificate and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
6. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
