JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give permission for conducting Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 20.01.2017 in Church Festival, Punithavanathu Antonyar Church, Purathaakudi, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a representation on 20.12.2016 for getting necessary permission.
4.Considering the aforesaid factual aspect, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.
5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Vaiyampatti Police Station is directed to look into the representation dated 20.12.2016 and dispose of the same within a period of seven days.
