Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to take appropriate action in the matter and to enter the name of the petitioner in the Family Register of her husband (Late Tarun Kant Ujala) of village Kanta, Vika Khand and Tehsil Chandauli (Sadar), District Chandauli.
Admittedly application of the petitioner for the relief as is being prayed, is already pending before the Competent authority and as such the present writ petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. to pass orders on the application of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law on its own merits, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
However, it is made clear that this court has not examined the claim of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
