1. Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the respondent authority in issuing dealers' licence for stocking and selling weathered sand in his dealer yard and to issue cash memorandum in From 'P' for transporting the weathered sand from the dealer yard of the petitioner under the provisions of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1967.
2. It is clear from the averments made in the above writ petition that the petitioner had submitted Ext.P7 application before the second respondent. By virtue of an interim order dated 5.2.2014 in W.A.No.107/2014 and connected cases, a Division Bench of this Court observed that such request has to be considered under the provisions of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules in respect of weathered rock/weathered sand before the authority concerned.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the authority concerned in this case is the second respondent and appropriate orders will be passed within a time frame.
In such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7 application, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
