JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard Sri Riyaz Ahmad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ran Vijay Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed the following relief:-
"(I) To issue a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite parties may be directed to provide the complete result of the petitioner bearing Roll No.4572110462 of the written examination of U.P. Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2018."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court towards Annexure No.6 of the writ petition, which is a representation dated 13.12.2019 preferred by the petitioner to the Chairman, U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow, whereby the petitioner has requested that she be provided the result of examination and the Answer-sheet for that she is ready to deposit the necessary expenses.
Sri Ran Vijay Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has submitted that there is a mechanism provided under Right to Information Act and the Competent Authority under the Right to Information Act is available in the office of the Chairman, U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow. Therefore, the petitioner may very well approach the Competent Authority under Right to Information Act in the office of the opposite party No.2 i.e. the Chairman, U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow and the petitioner may obtain the required information after depositing the requisite fee to that effect.
Therefore, Sri Ran Vijay Singh has submitted that when the statutory authority is available, the petitioner should approach the said authority under the law.
Considering the aforesaid submission of Sri Ran Vijay Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, without entering into merits of the issue, I hereby dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage permitting the petitioner to approach the Competent Authority under Right to Information Act of the office of the Chairman, U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow by filing application as per the procedure prescribed and if such application is filed by the petitioner with expedition preferably within a period of ten days from today, the Competent Authority under Right to Information Act shall act upon strictly in accordance with law and it is expected that the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of one month, as prescribed under the Right to Information Act.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of finally.
