JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to open the tender submitted by the petitioner dated 18.08.2017 in the presence of the petitioner as per the provisions of Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act.
2. Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthu Karuppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the tender submitted by the petitioner dated 18.08.2017 was opened in his presence on 05.09.2017. So the writ petition becomes infructuous.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader further submitted that the tender of the petitioner was rejected while considering the technical bid and the rejection order will be furnished to the petitioner tomorrow.
4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
Post the matter on 15.09.2017 for reporting compliance.
