The petitioner, licensee of five toddy shops in Group No.XI of Palakkad Range bearing Toddy Shop Nos.44, 45, 58, 68, 82/14-15, complains that the timings of 9 a.m to 9 p.m during which alone the toddy shops are permitted to function, is causing a lot of hardships. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation to the 2nd respondent. He seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. The learned Government Pleader appears for the respondents.
2. Since Ext.P2 is pending consideration of the 2nd respondent, it is only appropriate that the grievance of the petitioner is considered by the said authority.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P2 representation in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
