Convict - Ganpatbhai Ashabhai Patanvadiya, undergoing lifer since 24.12.1996, has applied for temporary bail for house repair. He has produced the certificate issued by Sarpanch of the Kaliyari Gram Panchayat, dated 16.6.2000 to substantiate his say. The Office of the D.S.P. after inquiring the genuineness of the cause, has also given opinion in favour of the convict, provided the entry of the convict may be restricted to village Vaddala. The convict, by this time, was released on two occasions on temporary bail and has also enjoyed one furlough leave and on all occasions, he has surrendered in time without there being any untoward incident. His jail record is also good. Considering the aforesaid circumstances, we release the convict Ganpatbhai Ashabhai Patanvadiya on temporary bail from the date of his release for a period of 15 days, on his executing a personal surety bond in the sum of Rs. 2,000/- before the Jail Authorities on usual terms and conditions. Rule is made absolute.
