1. Learned APP stated, on instructions, that the complaint and representation dated 10.01.2012 of the petitioner shall be registered as an FIR and it shall be vigorously investigated by a competent officer who may be selected and nominated by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad.
2. In view of the averments made in the petition, seriousness of the alleged offences and alleged laxity and incompetence on the part of the police officer concerned, it is advisable and necessary that the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad should look into the matter so as to expeditiously carry out proper investigation by an officer who could be authorized and entrusted the duty of travelling to other States, if necessary, and coordinate his efforts with the police of the other States, as and when required. In case the corpus is not found till the next date of hearing, a report of investigation may be produced before this Court for appropriate further orders. S.o. to 27th February 2012, at the request of learned APP.
3. A copy of the order shall be given to the learned APP.
