Leave to amend the cause title as the petitioner wants to join Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad, as a necessary party as respondent no.11. Notice to the newly added respondent no.11 returnable on 27.12.1996. On that day the Commissioner of Police shall filed a detailed affidavit stating therein as to what steps have been taken pursuant to the direction given by the learned Magistrate and as to whether the investigation has commenced or not, whether he has deputed any police inspector and if it is not commenced then what is his explanation. Mr N.D. Gohil, learned APP, is directed to communicate this order to the Commissioner of Police by fax today only and he shall see to it that on the returnable date an appropriate affidavit may be filed.
