(Per : HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE MR.BHASKAR BHATTACHARYA) By this Public Interest Litigation, Rajkot Labour Law Practitioner Association has prayed for a mandamus quashing the decision taken by the State for creating new establishment/set up of Industrial Court at Jamnagar as being practically not viable It appears from the records that at present, the matters relating to the District of Jamnagar are being tried at the Industrial Court situated in Rajkot. It further appears from records that there are about 400 pending cases from Jamnagar District.
In such circumstances, the State Government having taken a decision to create a separate Industrial Court at Jamnagar, cannot be branded as opposed to "public interest".
We, thus, find no reason to interfere with the decision taken by the State Government in this regard. The writ-application is accordingly dismissed.
