The applicant has prayed for extension of the time to pay Rs. 2 lakh, which were required to be deposited by the petitioner on or before 24.9.1996, upto 2.10.1996. The petitioner has deposited Rs. 1 lakh as stated in application and therefore there seems to be no objection if time is extended upto 1.10.1996 for depositing Rs. 2 lakh as per the order dated 20.9.1996. Time is therefore extended for deposit of Rs. 2 lakh upto 1.10.1996 instead of 24.9.1996. This application stands disposed of accordingly with no order as to costs.
