JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application for the issue of a No Objection Certificate for constructing a building in his property. The application has been acknowledged receipt of by Ext.P5. The petitioner seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of his application. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. 2. Heard. Since the application submitted by the petitioner is still pending before the second respondent, it is only appropriate that the said authority considers the application and passes appropriate orders thereon, without further delay.
In view of the above this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's WPC 7707/2013 2 application for No Objection Certificate, acknowledged receipt of by Ext.P5, in accordance with law and in accordance with the dicta laid down by the decisions on the point, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
