The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 29.7.2017 and consequently to direct the sixth respondent to credit the crop insurance amount in the respective bank accounts of 1889 members of the Society, for the Fasli No.1426 for Rabi season, namely for the year 2016-17 with the fourth respondent bank within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard the submissions made by Mr.C.Muthusaravanan, learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1,2,4 and 5, Mr.D.Shanmugaraja sethupathi, learned counsel for the third respondent and Mr.D.Srinivasaraghavan, learned counsel for the sixth respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.The learned counsel for the sixth respondent would submit that now the sixth respondent has received claim and it is now under process. The submission of the learned counsel for the sixth respondent is recorded.
4.In view of the above said submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the sixth respondent to pass final orders on the claim as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
