ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioners is absent. No representation.
2. Perused the petition.
3. Petitioners have sought to quash the FIR in Cr.No.55/2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 114, 323, 427, 379 r/w 149 of IPC.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional SPP appearing for respondent No.1 submitted that after trial, petitioners and the other accused have been acquitted by the Trial Court by order dated 16.03.2018, on account of compromise arrived at between the petitioners and the complainant.
In view of the above submission, nothing further survives for consideration in this petition. Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
In view of the dismissal of main petition, I.A.No.1/2016 filed for stay does not survive for consideration and the same stands rejected accordingly.
