By means of this writ petition the petitioners have come to this Court challenging the order of the Nagar Panchayat dated 20.7.2018 by which the petitioners have been directed to stop construction on the abadi land of the Nagar Panchayat which is stated to be on Arazi No. 453.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had purchased this land from one Shakeel Akhtar by a registered sale deed and the map was sanctioned by the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, yet the Nagar Panchayat is stalling the construction over the land.
learned counsel for the petitioners has not been able to show as to on which arazi the said construction is being raised. Even otherwise we cannot go into the dispute with regard to title and ownership of the land for which the appropriate forum is civil court.
The writ petition has no merit and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
