JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Heard Sri Prahlad Maurya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pankaj Srivastava, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for opposite party Nos. 1 to 3 through video conferencing.
2. The petition has been filed for the following reliefs:
" I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the oposite party no. 2 & 3 by directing them to consider the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Anganbari Karykatri, in the Village-Kodara Saraiya, Block-Shahabad, District Hardoi, in the interest of justice.
(ii) any other other which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, in the circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.
(iii) award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioner."
3. In paragraph 6 of the petition, the petitioner has submitted that the post of Anganbari Karykatri for the village Kodra Saraiya Block Shahabad, District Hardoi was advertised in the year 2012. The petitioner applied for the same on 14.11.2012, but when no action was taken the petitioner filed representation in the year 2020, which is still pending.
4. Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel Sri Pankaj Srivastava submits that he has oral instructions from opposite party No.3 ? Bal Vikas Pariyojna Adhikari Shadabad, Hardoi and on the basis thereof he submits that for filling the vacancy, if any, now fresh advertisement would be required under the new Government Orders. If, in pursuance of the advertisement dated 14.11.2012, in which the petitioner allegedly applied, nothing was done, the petitioner should have approached immediately for redressal of any of her grievances.
5. Be that at it may, the petitioner has slept over her rights, if any, and has approached this court after more than 8 years.
6. In view of the above, this court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.
7. The writ petition is therefore, dismissed on the ground of latches.
