By means of this contempt application, the applicant has alleged that the order of this Court dated 30.05.2017 passed in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 9735 of 2017 to conclude the investigation expeditiously has not been complied with.
On being directed by this Court vide order dated 18.08.2018, the learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel has placed today the instructions wherein it has been reported by the Senior Superintendent of Police that the investigation has been concluded and the charge sheet has been submitted on 07.09.2018. The instructions are taken on record.
In view of the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted and copy of the same was supplied to learned counsel for the applicant, the cause of action no more survives to maintain the present contempt application.
In view of the above, contempt application is finally disposed of.
