Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
The present petition has been filed for direction upon the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Kanpur Nagar to decide Case No.30 of 2017 (Anuj Kumar Awasthi Vs. Smt. Shilpa), under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, within stipulated period.
From the order-sheet of the case it appears that on last date i.e. 16th January, 2018 when the matter was taken up, the lawyers were on strike and therefore for framing of issues 8th March, 2018 was fixed.
It does not appear that the matter is yet ripe for final hearing. Under the circumstances, this Court does not consider it necessary to issue any specific direction upon the court concerned, at this stage. It is expected that the court concerned in absence of any legal impediment shall endeavour to bring the proceeding to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law, With the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed off.
